Lawn Application Program

Prevent - March & April

What is Prevent/pre-emergent weed treatment? Simply put, it’s an approach to lawn management that aims to prevent weeds from growing in the first place. What’s behind this approach? It’s simple, really.

Once weeds have taken hold in a lawn or garden, a lot of effort has to go into eliminating them. Think of weeds like cockroaches – the ones you see are only the tip of the iceberg. If your lawn or garden is to the point where weeds are visible, there are far more hidden and waiting for their chance to grow. What you see may be a fraction of what’s still germinating in the dirt.

Weed & Feed - April & September

Effectively kills those pesky weeds that show the most in your lawn. Like any chemical, it works by cutting your work short. If you don’t have time to manually pull weeds and create organic compost to fertilize your lawn, then a bag of weed and feed will help you out.

Prevent - May/June

An active population can easily destroy your lawn in a very short period of time. In addition to these subsurface feeding insects causing damage themselves, their presence tends to attract animals, such as birds, mice, rats, gophers, groundhogs, raccoons and skunks, who love to feed on an active grub population; ultimately, causing even further damage to your lawn.

Snowman - October & November

Improves moisture retention for unpredictable winters. Enhances soil structure. Provides early spring green-up. Aids in root penetration and vigor, especially in sandy or clay soils. Improves disease resistance. Helps reduce thatch build-up.
